Creations from Childhood

When I made these, I was flipping through some of my old drawings from my early years. How have I become so much less creative than I used to be?

These three are just three of the drawings. I'd like to do more someday. The one on the left is "Bones," some sort of grim-reaper-type character. The one in the middle is "Chubby." I was trying to draw Pommy from Bomberman at the time but somehow this, one of my most loved characters, came out of it. The one on the right is "Grassy," who came to life in a watercolor painting I made. I think I was was trying to paint Bulbasaur and somehow ended up with Grassy.
